Rector’s Address to Freshmen of School of Health Sciences & School of Pharmacy

The Rector welcomed the students and congratulated them for being selected for UMT, one of the most prestigious university. He expressed his best wishes for their academic journey and emphasized that UMT is committed to help them to excel and succeed in their academic and professional life.
The Rector highlighted the wide range of facilities available to the students to support their academic and professional growth. He assured them that UMT’s faculty, infrastructure, management, and support staff are fully dedicated to providing an environment that fosters learning and success.
He advised the students to seek guidance and support from their batch advisors and faculty on regular basis. He stated that the batch advisor effectively work as a local guardian for students at UMT. The Rector highlighted the university’s commitment for excellence through CQI process where that student’s feedback plays a vital role in shaping policies and enhancing the learning experience. He emphasized that students are key stakeholders in the university, and their input is crucial for further progress.
The Rector advised the students to familiarize themselves and adhere with UMT’s Code of Conduct. He highlighted UMT’s generous scholarship programs and emphasized that it is their responsibility to work hard, achieve high grades, and strive for excellence, maintain strong academic performance, uphold integrity, and be responsible individuals.
