UMT Press Holds Book Launching Ceremony

UMT Press organized Book Launching Ceremony of Dr Nadeem ul Haque's book named ‘Looking Back: How Pakistan Became an Asian Tiger by 2050’ on February 23, 2018 at UMT Conference Hall. The ceremony was attended by students, faculty members, media persons and renowned literary figures. The event was chaired by Dr Hasan Sohaib Murad, Chairman, ILM Trust, whereas Rector UMT Dr Muhammad Aslam and DG UMT Abid H K Shirwani welcomed all the guests.
The launched book is an innovative future history by adopting a fictional style. The book paints an exciting picture that is bound to provoke discussion and debate about a marvelous framework for an erudite critique of current failed aided-based development policies for Pakistan, and for the promotion of an alternative based on acknowledging that complex self organizing networks are the building block of genuine development.
