UMT 27th Convocation

We are thrilled to invite you to the 27th UMT Convocation, scheduled to be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025. This momentous day celebrates your hard work, dedication, and accomplishments, and we can’t wait to make it a memorable event for you and your loved ones.

To ensure a smooth and well-organized experience, we kindly request you to carefully read the following instructions and adhere to them in both letter and spirit:

1. Event Day Registration
   • Graduates must register themselves and their guests on the UMT Convocation App to generate a single QR Code for entry.
   • This QR Code will allow access to the campus for you and two guests. No entry will be allowed without the QR Code.
2. Downloading the Convocation App

   • Please refer to the 'UMT Convocation App User Manual,' which provides step-by-step guidance on downloading, registering, and generating your QR Code.
3. Entry to UMT Campus
   • Graduates and guests must arrive at UMT Campus, C-II Johar Town, Lahore, by 8:45 AM. Entry will only be through North Gate 1 (in front of visitor parking).
   • Gates will close at 9:25 AM, and no one will be allowed inside after this time. Please plan your commute accordingly.
4. Guest Limit and Arrival
   • Each graduate is permitted to register and bring only two guests.
   • Guests will only be granted entry if they arrive with the graduate. Ensure your family or friends accompany you and do not arrive separately.
5. Parking and Security
   • Parking will be available in the visitor parking area outside the campus and along nearby roads.
   • Please cooperate with security staff and law enforcement to avoid delays. Expect traffic congestion near the campus and plan your commute accordingly.
6. During the Event
   • UMT Marshals and Ushers will guide graduates to the Graduate Procession Area and guests to the family enclosure in the Convocation Arena. Please remain in your designated spaces and follow instructions for the event to proceed seamlessly.
   • The arena will close at 10:00 AM, and no one will be allowed to leave until the ceremony concludes.
7. Code of Conduct
   • All attendees are expected to cooperate fully with UMT staff, Marshals, Ushers, and the event management teams.
   • Any disruptive behavior, harassment, or non-compliance with instructions will result in strict disciplinary action, including cancellation of your participation and degree issuance.
8. Degree Collection

• • Graduates are required to bring their original CNIC along with a copy for the collection of their original degrees. The degrees can be collected from Hakim Muhammad Saeed Hall after lunch.
