UMT Stands apart in HEC Ranking for Online Classes Readiness

The ongoing pandemic has prompted a shift to online education, University of Management and Technology (UMT) was the first university in Pakistan to adopt a successful digital transition. Our faculty, staff worked tirelessly round the clock and made commendable efforts to contribute to broader national challenges. We have fully espoused online education and integrated technology to continue education to our students.
It is informed that our efforts have paid off as UMT made it to the list of top Online Class Readiness Universities of Pakistan as per HEC parameters that included: University Readiness, Course Readiness, Faculty Readiness, Technology Readiness, Library Readiness, Student Readiness, Evaluation Readiness, and Laboratory Readiness.
UMT has made a clean sweep in all eight parameters. The assessment was made on the data submitted on the Higher Education Data Repository (HEDR) by Accreditation and Academic Quality Improvement Cell (AAQIC). Most of the universities known best in the QS and THE ranking are far below than UMT in this ranking and, of course credit goes to UMT Connected, Office of Technology Support (OTS), Registrar, Controller and Rector Office for enabling AAQIC with the required information.
Adopting a new instructional delivery system has been extremely challenging; therefore, heartfelt appreciation to our faculty for their priceless efforts, understanding, support, guidance, and contribution towards our students' progress. Your patience and dedication has enabled our students to receive a positive educational online experience.
