UMT Ranked Among Top Pakistani Institutions for Sustainability by UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2020

UMT yet again has achieved another feather in its cap. Protecting and sustaining the environment has always been one of the major goals of University of Management and Technology since its inception. This year UMT has made its first entry in UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2020.
Due to UMT's commitment in conserving and sustaining the environment, UMT has been ranked 23rd in all over Pakistan and stands at 620th position among 912 universities worldwide for sustainable and green campus.
The UI GreenMetric World University Ranking is an international ranking system of universities from around the world based on their efforts to integrate environment friendly policies and environmental management into campus operations and designs. The criteria for ranking was based on six indicators: Setting and Infrastructure (15%), Energy and Climate Change (21%), Waste (18%), Water (10%), Transportation (18%), and Education (18%).
