UMT Ranked Among Top Institutions by QS

University of Management and Technology (UMT) is basking again in the glory of their newly achieved position assigned by the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Asia University Rankings 2021 on November 25, 2020. UMT has been successfully ranked among top tier universities for the three consecutive years. The 2021 edition has classified UMT among top 77% quality institutions and placed it in a category of best 501-550 on the basis of performance. A total of 40 universities from Pakistan participated in the ranking.
The (QS) Asia University Rankings 2021 is one of the profoundest rankings being published. The performance is determined using 11 indicators with a different weightage. The indicators include Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Faculty/Student Ratio, International Research Network, Citations per Paper and Paper(s) per Faculty. Other weighted indicators include Staff with a PhD, Proportion of International Faculty, Proportion of International Students, Proportion of Inbound Exchange Students, and Proportion of Outbound Exchange Students. The achievement results have delineated the “Employer Reputation” as the strongest indicator of UMT.
