UMT Conducts Graduate Programs Review 2024-2025 in Compliance with HEC Guidelines

The Academic Accreditation & Quality Improvement Cell (AAQIC) / Quality Enhancement Cell successfully conducted the Graduate Programs Review 2024-2025 for all graduate programs at UMT. This comprehensive review aimed to assess and enhance the quality of graduate programs, ensuring alignment with HEC guidelines and international best practices.

A panel of esteemed external evaluators from leading public sector universities was invited to conduct the evaluation. The panel included:

  1. Prof. Dr. Amer Aziz – Director QEC, UET Lahore
  2. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shafiq – Director QEC, University of the Punjab, Lahore
  3. Dr. Fouzia Shahin – Director Academic Planning & External Linkages, GCU Lahore
  4. Mr. Hadi Iqtadar – Director QEC, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU)

During the review process, each graduate program was evaluated based on key parameters, including curriculum design, approval from saturatory bodies, NoC from HEC, Teacher Student Ratio, faculty qualifications, research output. The insights and recommendations provided by the external evaluators will play a crucial role in further enhancing the academic standards of graduate programs.

AAQIC extends its gratitude to the external evaluators for their valuable contributions and to Deans/CoDs and program coordinators for their active participation in this important academic quality assurance initiative.
