Training on Self-Assessment Process under HEC Guidelines

A special online training session for faculty members of University of Management and Technology (UMT), Sialkot Campus was organised by Accreditation and Academic Quality Improvement Cell on “Self- Assessment Process” as per the Higher Education Commission (HEC) guidelines.
The agenda of the session was to set about solving the issues of Program Team and Assessment Team involved in the Self Assessment Process. The session was conducted by Mr Asif Saeed Haider, Director AAQIC. At least 50 faculty members showed up for the session and expressed their opinions. In the session the benefits of Self Assessment of programmes for academic performance was discussed. It was organised to make institute more accountable for their learning procedures and professional competence. Faculty members were presented to explore the criterion and standards provided by HEC in Self-Assessment Manual. All participating faculty members found the session informative and useful to their job roles as a program team or assessment team member.
