Training Workshops on Outcome Based Education (OBE)

Accreditations and Academic Quality Improvement Cell (AAQIC) organized one-day training workshops titled "Outcomes-Based Education from Academic Quality Assurance Perspective" for UMT faculty. Outcome-Based Education (OBE) is basically a student-centric teaching and learning model that helps to measure students’ performances through different levels of programs such as Program Objectives (POs), Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) and Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs).
The facilitators of the OBE workshops were Director AAQIC, Professor Dr. Muhammad Usman Rashid, and Professor Dr. Mohammad Pervez Mughal shared their professional expertise regarding the benefits of OBE, basic concepts of OBE, mapping Techniques, assessment methods and development of outcomes using Bloom’s Taxonomy.
