Surviving through digital Transformation

Digital transformation along with strategic considerations have played a very important role in enhancing the competitive positions of successful organizations. Considering the competitive landscape it is becoming important to adapt to the digital world and latest technological trends rather falling victim to “digital Darwinism”. Accreditations and Academic Quality Improvement Cell (AAQIC) has taken the initiative to establish a solid mechanism of graduate placement, a platform to learn emerging technologies from the experts, collaborative research and joint projects. A webinar was organized for the students of School of Systems and Technology (SST) and School of Engineering and Technology (SEN) on 22nd March, 2021. The CEO of Systems Limited, Mr. Asif Peer was invited as a guest speaker to give an influential and informative talk on accelerating digital transformation efforts. The Systems Limited with slogan “Enabling a Digital Tomorrow” is a global leader of next-generation IT services and BPO solutions. Mr. Khalid Naqi, Director OCLP welcomed Mr. Peer and introduced him to the audience. Mr. Peer addressed the following subjects: Digital Disruption, Trends in Digital and Mobile Commerce, Challenges in Current Market, Rise of Omni-digital Banking Consumer, Digital Disruption: A Threat or Opportunity, Disrupters Entering as New Challenge, Rethinking Experience, Rethinking Intelligence, and Rethinking Data. He further responded to the questions from the audience for further clarity of the subject. The audience found the session very enlightening.
