Strengthening Internal Quality Assurance: Progress Review Meeting & Training for Quality Enhancement Cells

The AAQIC team attended the three days’ workshops titled Strengthening Internal Quality Assurance: Progress Review Meeting & Training for Quality Enhancement Cells organized by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), HEC, Islamabad in collaboration with Quality Enhancement Cell, University of Punjab, Lahore from 28^th February to 2^nd March 2022.

These workshops aim to strengthen the Quality Assurance System through External Assurance Mechanism and Internal Assurance Mechanism. On the first day, the QEC heads were briefed on the requirements of the Yearly Progress Report for 2021-2022 including components of the YPR, expectations from the QECs and acceptable evidences, etc. On the second day, there were workshops and training sessions on reviewing and revising IPE processes, Expectations and outcome indicators against the IPE Standards. On the last day, HEC had given training to the QEC officials on HJRS and research publications verification, plagiarism policy, and NOC for MS/M.Phil. & Ph.D. Programs.
