Roundtable Conference on World Quality Day

AAQIC conducted a Roundtable Conference on World Quality Day under the theme “Quality Conscience: Doing the Right Things” mainly focusing on recent developments and future perspectives in academic quality assurance. The QEC Directors, Deputy Directors, and delegations from prestigious universities, CEOs & VP from industries participated in the event. The chief guest of the roundtable conference was Dr. Kamran Moosa who is the Chief Executive of the PIQC Institute of Quality. The participants shared their best quality practices including the structure of continuous quality improvement, teacher subject knowledge, pedagogical skills, HEC policies, ethical values and the importance of industry linkage with the institutions. Dr. Kamran Moosa then concluded the roundtable conference by giving his valuable input concerning higher education such as student and teacher learning perspectives, the role of technology and industry for academia, metacognitive skills, students’ quality chains, and knowledge skills. In the end, the honorable Rector UMT Dr. Asif Raza distributed certificates among the participants.
