MS/MPhil & PhD Review Visit of QAA-HEC

The HEC Program Review Team conducted a visit to the University of the Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore on 18, 19 and 20 May 2022. The purpose of this visit was to evaluate the University whether or not it is implementing HEC minimum criteria for launching and continuing MS/MPhil and PhD programs while maintaining the quality of education.
The Program Review Team consisted of seven academicians and professionals mentioned below
1. Dr. Nadeem Malik University of Balochistan, Quetta
2. Dr. Sofia Ahmed Quaid-E-Azam University, Islamabad
3. Dr. Hizbullah Khan University of Peshawar, Peshawar
4. Dr. Ikhtiar Ali Ghumro SALU, Khairpur
5. Dr. Muhammad Asif Chaudhary Shifa Tameer -e- Millat University
6. Dr. Javed Ahmed shahani IBA, Sukhur
7. Muhammad Ghazanfar Bhatti HEC, Islamabad
The HEC visit continued for three days in which there were different activities including review of program manuals, policies and rules & regulations of the University. In addition to that, interactive sessions were carried out with Deans / Directors / Chairpersons of departments, Faculty, Students, Registrar, Controller, Treasurer and Director OHCM. The Program Review Team also visited the University facilities like library, laboratories, studios, classrooms etc as per the plan and expressed great satisfaction with the facilities provided within the campus to the Faculty, Students, and Staff. In the end, the honorable UMT Rector Dr. Asif Raza had an exit meeting with the HEC PR Team and presented them with the souvenirs.
