MMBL initiatives for Digital Pakistan

A session was organized by Accreditations and Academic Quality Improvement Cell (AAQIC) on 4th May, 2021, under the domain of our educational sessions; “Business Leaders with Future Leaders”. The webinar presented “Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. Role in Making Pakistan Digital and Guidelines for Building a Successful Career”. President and CEO, Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited (Pakistan's Largest Digital Bank), Mr. Ghazanfar Azzam anchored an exclusive session for the students and faculty of Dr Hasan Murad School of Management, School of Systems and Technology, School of Governance and Society, and School of Professional Advancement. Mr. Azzam shed light on the following topics: MMBL Role in Empowering Freelancers, MMBL Partnership with Payoneer, Growing Need to Setup Business Enterprises, The Future of Work and Automation, The Need for Up Skilling, Leadership Trend for 2021, etc. The webinar was followed by a Q&A session to enhance the participants’ learning experience. Mr. Azzam thoroughly addressed the participants’ questions and engaged with them in a healthy debate. The moderator thanked Mr. Azzam for conducting an inclusive session with UMT participants and formally invited him to visit UMT campus after COVID-19 restrictions ease.
