1st Institutional Academic Audit of Department of Education, (SSSH)

The Accreditations and Academic Quality Improvement Cell (AAQIC) team along with Institutional Academic Audit Committee (IAAC) has successfully conducted a first on-site Academic Audit of the School of Social Sciences & Humanities (SSSH) on the 29th December 2021. The main purpose of the Institutional Academic Audit Committee (IAAC) was to evaluate the overall academic and support functions of the school. The whole process is aimed at examining the functioning of the School and its alignment with the strategic vision & goals of the University as well as the regulatory and university policies and procedures. To do that, the Committee had set forth 18 criteria covering all-important KPIs needed for this audit. The committee members thoroughly checked the provided documents in accordance with policy and prescribed key performance indicators. Besides the Chair, other committee members also discussed all KPIs one by one with Dean Dr. Mumtaz Akhter. The Audit Committee also interacted with the faculty members to evaluate their teaching expertise. In the end, the Audit committee marked their observations for the final report to be presented to the honorable Rector UMT.
