On behalf of the university community, the office of University development creates and builds lifelong relationships with colleagues, friends, foundations, corporations and our worldwide network of proud graduates.
Relationships make a difference for UMT. Individual contributions of time, wisdom, and funds help UMT meet its academic and strategic goals and create a better learning experience for our students, which in turns helps us encourage innovative research, nurture tomorrow’s leaders and develop practical solutions to national and global challenges.
It is OUD’s job to initiate and develop these relationships. Working closely with the university’s senior leadership, the department leads and coordinates effective alumni relations, fundraising, stewardship and related communication efforts to find potential partners and match their personal priorities to university needs. The office ensures that alumni, supporters, donors and potential donors have a meaningful and mutually beneficial partnership with UMT.
