President UMT Ibrahim Hasan Murad Met with Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Speaker Punjab Assembly

President University of Management and Technology (UMT) Ibrahim Hasan Murad met with Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch. Pervez Elahi and confessed that he has been a great friend and support for us over the decades. “Relations with everyone should be established upon the foundation of humanity and selflessness” said Ibrahim Murad.
Ibrahim Murad briefed Ch. Pervez Elahi about UMT’s academic and extracurricular activities and said that over 25,000 students are enrolled with us and we are offering 150+ programs in various disciplines. Mr Murad suggested that Higher Education in Pakistan requires a legislation that must be favorable, conducive and enabling for improved educational standards. He also said that the legislation will play a key role in advancing quality higher education all across the country
President UMT further expressed that each of the laws of the legislation will have to be followed by every higher education institute across Pakistan. Moreover, Ibrahim Murad said that in recent times all higher educational institutes have been following new sets of rules and legislation must be in charge for a balanced approach
Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch. Pervez Elahi, commended the services of UMT in the educational sector and said that UMT is playing a substantial role in the promotion of education with skills. Pervez Elahi also admired the legacy of Dr. Hasan Sohaib Murad (shaheed) carried forth by Ibrahim Murad. He also assured Ibrahim Murad for his cooperation regarding legislation in Higher Education. It is gratifying that UMT is one of the best universities in Asia; he said. Pervez Elahi also included that higher is a fundamental right of youth. The better the education system, the better the future of the next generation; he added.
At the end of the meeting both, Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch. Pervez Elahi and Ibrahim Hasan Murad shared souvenirs as a token of gratitude.
