Award for Students:

1) Rector’s Research Recognition Award (MS/MPhil Participants)

Rector’s Research Recognition Award is given to the graduating participants of MS/MPhil on the Convocation Day, fulfilling the following conditions:

  1. The participant must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0.
  2. The participant must have completed his/her degree program within the stipulated period, i.e., a maximum of 3 Years.
  3. The Award shall be given to those who publish at least one paper in a HEC approved journal from thesis work.
  4. The participant’s name should be in the first three authors with UMT affiliations.
  5. There should be no “F? grade.
  6. The participant should not have been penalized as a result of disciplinary and/or unfair means.
  7. A Research Reward Committee shall review and short-list the papers for this Award.
  8. Only the top three (3) participants from Sciences\Applied Sciences and three (3) participants from Social Sciences\Humanities will get this award.
  9. If more than three (3) participants have papers from the same Category (HJRS), then priority will be given to the participant with a higher CGPA.
  10. The participant will be awarded a souvenir.
