UMT Research Grant Committee Introduction

UMT is committed to achieving excellence in research. Free and open inquiry and unhindered circulation of ideas are fundamental aspects of academic work. UMT supports research projects to expand and disseminate knowledge. In this continuation, UMT has a rich tradition of conferring rewards and awards to its faculty, staff, and students to promote research. We believe that appreciation and recognition are powerful motivators leading to an increase in performance, productivity, and overall satisfaction. The mandate of the UMT Research Grants Committee (RGC) is to manage fair distribution of research rewards for HEC recognized journal publications, for payment of publication charges, the registration fee for paper presentation in national and international conferences. Faculty members desirous of availing any of these facilities may apply on the respective forms.  Research meetings held bi-monthly for timely facilitations.
