Strategic Communications
The Strategic Communications section at OCM is responsible for informing the stakeholders, building cordial relationships and generating internal as well as support for university operations. It deals with promoting the university’s academic and research mission, along with creating awareness about the university’s branding processes.
The strategic communication officer also provides a creative and strategic direction to the promotional affairs of the university, along with protecting the imagery of the brand through effective crisis management practices. The officer oversees media relations, digital communication, event planning and building cordial community relations. The officer not only promotes the accomplishments of research scholars, students and faculty members across print, electronic and digital mediums, but also works closely with other divisions and departments across the campus to effectively highlight their activities.
