UMT Innovation Champions Boot Camp and Club (ICBCC) Inks MoU with Innovation District 92

UMT Innovation Champions Boot Camp and Club (ICBCC) at the Office of Career Services (OCS), UMT, inked an MoU with Innovation District 92 (ID92) – a leading incubator in Pakistan. Maria Naseer, Program Manager, Innovation District 92, signed the MoU with Khalid Naqi, Chief Transformation Officer and Advisor, Innovation Capital Development Forum (ICDF), UMT on November 28, 2018.

The purpose of this MoU is to facilitate UMT students in the idea generation and incubation process, and also to help them develop and launch their new startups/business ideas.

Innovation District 92 (ID 92) will offer extensive brain storming/ideation sessions to the interested members of ICBCC to convert their Final Year Projects (FYPs) into viable commercial products. An incubation space for startups will be provided to those who are seeking guidance in converting their raw business ideas into effective and profitable businesses. A physical office space for free of cost for 6 months where startups will get an opportunity to network with a pool of mentors, investors and facilitators. UMT students will be able to attend all open sessions and open events held at ID 92.
