The EFMD operates the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), which is one of the leading international systems of quality assessment, improvement and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration. It is comparable to its American equivalent AACSB and provides a forum for information, research, networking and debate on innovation and best practice in management development.

Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA)
The Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA) was established in 1988, with the initiative of leading management development institutions in the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) region. AMDISA is an international not-for-profit association, and is a “SAARC Recognised Body”. It has 235 members, of which 203 are institutional members from the SAARC region, 4 affiliate members, 14 corporate members and 14 reciprocal members. The reciprocal members are institutions with similar objectives outside South Asia and include institutions such as the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International, USA; European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), Belgium; Russian Association of Business Education (RABE), Russia; Central and East European Management Development Association (CEEMAN) Slovenia; Association of Business Schools (ABS), UK; Australia and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM), Australia, etc. Membership is available to management development networks all over the world.
SAQS has positioned itself as Quality Assurance System representing the highest standard of achievement for management schools.AMDISA believes that institutions that earn Quality Assurance, conform their commitment to Quality and continuous improvement.
