Media Relations
UMT is a pretty busy place, there is always something going on at the University. There are all kinds of academic activities, seminars, study tours, special events such as the annual convocation, sports competitions or annual mushairas. One of the important functions of OCM is to publicize these in the media. All these activities are, of course, covered in our in-house newsletter, UMT News, but it is also our job to convey these to the general public through news and press releases in national dailies.
The OCM staff works closely with the media representatives to give them information about new developments in the University and also provides profiles of UMT for use in educational publications or special issues of newspapers.
