The MOU signifies a commitment by both UMT and NACTA to collaborate on various initiatives aimed at promoting peace and countering terrorism through education. The areas of cooperation outlined in the MOU include:
1) Joint Research Collaboration: UMT and NACTA will join forces to conduct research that contributes to a deeper understanding of peace and counter-terrorism measures in Pakistan.
2) Directory of Research Experts: A comprehensive directory of experts specializing in peace and counter-terrorism research will be created to facilitate knowledge exchange and collaboration within the academic community.
3) Teachers' Training: UMT and NACTA will work together to provide training and resources to educators, empowering them to impart knowledge on peace and counter-terrorism effectively.
4) Awareness Activities for Students: Both institutions will organize awareness campaigns and activities to educate students about the importance of peace and the role they can play in promoting it.
5) Review of Existing Curriculum: UMT and NACTA will evaluate and update existing curricula to incorporate relevant peace and counter-terrorism content, ensuring that students receive a well-rounded education.
