Welcome to the University of Management and Technology. Since our inception in 1990, we have grown by leaps and bounds.

UMT enjoys the distinction of being among the few select universities in Pakistan to have a ‘W’ (previously known as ‘A’) category awarded by the HEC. We have a permanent faculty body of over 110 members.

Through our diverse range of degree programs and meticulously devised courses that aim to provide experiential learning and character building skills, we at UMT are producing competent graduates who can contribute to the critical development needs of our country and the region.

In recognition of our sound reputation as a committed University, the HEC has also recently qualified us for the Public Support Development Program which would enable us to secure generous grants from the HEC for development projects that seek to benefit all our stakeholders.

Our foundation rests on a passionate commitment to instill lifelong learning in our students. At UMT, we take pride in equipping our students with knowledge to survive in the professional milieu as well as a sense of duty to the society. We see ourselves playing a vital role in giving a platform to academia in Pakistan to collaborate actively on issues of research, quality enhancement and teaching skills, hence eliciting a synergized stride towards academic excellence.

The number of students from other countries, especially from the Gulf Region, has kept increasing at UMT over the years. These students have become an intrinsic part of our setup; this reflects the confidence of international students in our system. UMT is a vibrant set up with linkages to latest international research and learning that encourage students to develop a global mindset. UMT alumni have secured prominent positions within the country and abroad in a short period of time.
