UMT-SBE to Work on Management Simulation by the Smith School of Business, USA

UMT-HSM has been chosen among five top schools to work on a beta Management Simulation by the Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, USA. The selection was made from over 100 schools in the Global Business School Network. A team of six HSM students from the Information Systems Department and from the MBA Program worked with schools from Morocco, India, Cote d'Ivoire and the Smith School in the US. There was a successful Skype session as well as simultaneous simulation on laptops with all the students.
The Smith School intends to launch an international Management Simulation in 2018, and HSM will be one of the competitors.
The HSM Faculty Council met this past week and unanimously passed a Strategic Plan (2016 - 2019) for HSM. The 10 goals within the plan, each accompanied by KPIs, strategies and responsibility for accomplishing the goal, will give HSM the opportunity to be in the world rankings of business schools, as well as leading to international accreditations such as EQUIS and AACSB.HSM is proud to join with other UMT Schools and Institutes in bringing our University to international levels.
