UMT SATHA Business Plan Competition and SATHA Innovation Dinner

SATHA Business Plan Competition, an innovation exhibition and a summit titled, ‘Invention to Innovation Summit 2016' were held at al-Razzi Hall, Centre for Undergraduate Studies, University of the Punjab, Lahore. These events were organized in collaboration with the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Pakistan Science Foundation, and University of the Punjab respectively under the aegis of the Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), a research organ of UMT and PU functioning for the last many years.
SATHA-ORIC organized an Executive Dinner for 5th SATHA Innovation Award. The dinner included Innovation Awards to commercially potential technologies of academia and industry. A total of 30 Innovation Awards were given on the basis of substantial development and commercially viable technologies. Representatives from universities, industrial sector and civil service officers participated in SATHA Innovation Awards. Annual Innovation Award was designed to appreciate individuals and organizations that make socioeconomic impact through innovative solutions.
