UMT Faculty Member Inam Ul Haq Awarded Erasmus International Dimension Scholarship

Inam Ul Haq, Lecturer, Department of Sociology, School of Social Sciences and Humanities, has been awarded the prestigious Erasmus+International Dimension Scholarship and will be leaving for the University of Bielefeld, Germany this Fall for a semester. As a PhD Exchange Scholar, he will take an intensive German language course along with graduate level courses in Sociology, Transnational Studies, and Research Methods. He will also be teaching a course on Intercultural Studies as part of the program. He will utilize this opportunity to work towards the proposal for his doctoral dissertation, and attend workshops, seminars, and colloquia to enhance his repertoire of skills and knowledge.
The scholarship includes but is not limited to free tuition, a generous monthly stipend, return airfare and a trip to other Schengen countries. We wish Mr Haq all the best for his academic and professional endeavors and look forward to benefiting from his learning when he returns to UMT.
