The Knowledge School Organizes Seminar on Academic Excellence

A seminar on “Academic Excellence in Teaching” was held by The Knowledge School, a project of ILM Turst here on Monday. A good number of teachers, and social scientists participated in the seminar. In his concluding speech, Chairman The Knowledge School (TKS) and Rector of University of Management and Technology (UMT) said that education system in Pakistan needs to be updated phenomenally and it is only possible when teachers who are agents of catalyst change play their key role.
He said hardworking and dedicated teachers could make difference in society and it was the reason The Knowledge School System is rewarding best teachers every possible support needed for their professional grooming. Dr. Murad emphasized on innovation as essential ingredient to be possessed by individuals who are involved in teaching practices.
Dr. Abdul Hameed, Vice-chairman TKS,Prof. Dr. Abdul Rashid Kausar also addressed the seminar.
On the other hand, different sessions such as how to ensure inclusive and quality education in schools, creativity and activities in mathematics teaching, concept teaching and learning approaches, introducing innovative learning in classroom were conducted by Ms. Naveeda Kitchlew, Dr. Ahmed Faisal, Ms. Khadija Burhan and Ms. Zareen Khalid respectively. Souvenirs and certificates were distributed among the participants at the end of the program.
