TKS Organizes National Declamation Contest Finals

The Knowledge School Network organized national TKS Declamation Contest Finals after the competitions at District level. In this final contest, topper contestants from its more than 50 network schools participated. Furthermore, Art Champ Exhibition was also organized, where parents, students, teachers and school heads took keen interest to see the art work of young creative Champs displayed at the exhibition.
The Declamation was divided into two segments; first was in English and the second was in Urdu. Topics were ‘Beyond the Stars’ for Juniors and ‘Why Read Books Instead of Watching TV’ for Senior Level for English category. ‘Meri Pehchaan Pakistan’ for Junior level and ‘Qudrat bhi sath deti hai jab koshish e insaan ho’ for Senior level for Urdu category. The judges included Rahat Bashir, Shabana Zafar and Tamsila Naeem from UMT for English, and Hafiz Shahid Iqbal from ILM College and Zareen Khalid from TKS Head Office for Urdu.
The distinguish guests were CEO TKS, Mariam Murad, Director TKS, Dr M Yusuf Awan, Dean School of Architecture and Planning, Abid Nathaniel, Director Academics, Nusrat Hamdani, Director, Quality Assurance and Evaluation, Muhammad Taufeeq, Director Marketing and Designer Alvina Fatima from School of Architecture and Planning.
The inspirational success story of this event got the attention, when, a student Ramzan, was announced as topper of the Art Champ Competition; son of an Aya and he is now a Art Champ among TKS Network.
