Tuesday, August 11, 2015

The School of Advanced Studies (SAS) is conducting an introductory two-day workshop on August 26-27, 2015, titled "Exploring Anthropology and Ethnographic Research" to raise public awareness about the discipline and showcase the cultural diversity of Pakistan and the rest of the world.

In this regard, SAS Assistant Professor Ali Islam Ghauri, who is also a Fulbright alumnus, has successfully secured a grant from the United States Education Foundation Pakistan (USEFP) to cover the workshop expenses. The workshop will be free and would facilitate 50 participants from general public, specifically prospective students for our MS program and researchers from other disciplines interested in cross-cultural inquiry and ethnographic research methods.

This two-day workshop will be the first in a series of intermediate- and advanced-level workshops in future on ethnographic research methods.
