Pakistans First Solar Airplane by UMT Students Wins First Prize in SATHA in Business Plan Competition

‘Shams-One, Pakistan First Solar Powered Airplane’ has been selected by SATHA in Business Plan Competition category to win the first prize. The project has earned a cash prize of Rs 30,000 and a Certificate of Achievement. The project team consisted of UMT Department of Electrical Engineering students Syed Muhammad Junaid Javaid and Abdul Mateen Jamil. The project was supervised by Jameel Ahmad, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, School of ENgineering (SEN).
