Dr Sammia Shahid Presented with Best University Teachers Award by HEC

It is a source of great pride for UMT that Dr Sammia Shahid, Chairperson, Department of Chemistry, has been honored with the Best University Teachers Award for the year 2015 by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) on December 27, 2016 in HEC Auditorium, Islamabad.
The HEC awarded 47 university teachers for their overall performance as best teachers and also presented them with certificates and souvenirs for the Best University Teacher Award 2015 and Rs 100,000/- cash awards. The chief guest was Baligh ur Rehman, Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training, while Dr Mukhtar Ahmed, Chairman HEC, chaired the ceremony.
