Closing Ceremony of International Conference on Clinical Psychology and the Developing World

UMT Institute of Clinical Psychology (ICP) organized the 1st International Conference on ‘Clinical Psychology and the Developing World: Issues, Challenges and Solutions’ at Faletti’s Hotel, Lahore. The closing ceremony of the Conference was graced by the remarkable scholars, academicians and social scientists. Prof Dr Zahid Mahmood, Director ICP and Chief Organizer, delivered the concluding remarks on the conference and he thanked Dr Hasan Sohaib Murad, Rector UMT, for the support and appreciated the efforts the ICP team. Dr Sadia Saleem, Conference Secretary, expressed vote of thanks to all the participants of the Conference.
Abid H K Shirwani, Director General UMT and Chief Guest of the Conference delivered the keynote. He said that such conferences are extremely important to promote the culture of research. This conference consisted various scientific sessions and workshops which were designed to provide practical experience of the issues involved e.g. identification, diagnosis and intervention.
He thanked all the participants and speakers for their support. He also acknowledged the hard work put in by the ICP team. The concluding ceremony came to an end after distribution of souvenirs.
